Well that was fun - first visit to the dentist in about 15 years. Finally decided to man up and get things sorted out.

Not bad all in all - two fillings, a good clean and all looking a helluva lot better than before. I just can't feel my face...

Yup, health care provision over here is sorely lacking in many respects

You got off lighter than I did after a hiatus like that

My mum has always had excellent teeth, but fairly poor eyesight. Conversely, my dad has excellent eyesight, but has always suffered with his teeth.

My siblings and I came out of the genetic lottery with her eyesight and his teeth

It might be worse when you can.

I must look back through Monday links again. A brilliant set. I have read most - but a couple more I want to look at.

Suppose I should go and do the shopping I've been putting off since last Friday. Apart from anything else, I'm starving and there's sod all for lunch

And I could do with a haircut too
