Watched Interstellar, which has been sitting in my iTunes library for ages now, waiting until I was in the mood for it.
I wasn't actually in the mood for it per se, but I didn't find anything else that took my fancy and, after about fifteen minutes of dithering, thought I might as well watch it.
And very good it is too, in my opinion
Before that, I watched the first episode of The Royle Family, prompted by the death of Ms Aherne. It's one of those programmes where I bought the DVDs years ago on the grounds that it's always worth watching, but never actually watched it. But it is indeed worth watching; I'd forgotten just how perfectly they captured the humour of the utterly inconsequential
Anyway, my new microwave+ is on its way, so I'd better get to sleep so I don't miss the delivery. Goodnight all
