Is this thing on, like?
The chicken casserole was quite nice considering it's the first one I've ever made.
I shall freeze the remainder to enjoy at some future time.Comment

An exceptionally soggy drive back, the rain having arrived at the far end shortly before I left.
As I was turning on to the A14 at the A1 junction, a police car came zooming up behind with its blue lights going. I got over to the lane where the lorries live, and it shot past and up the A14 at a rate of knots
Then, having got ahead of the traffic a bit, it slowed down to about 30mph and put a rolling roadblock on
We tootled along behind it for a couple of miles, then it zoomed off again. Turns out there was a broken-down van near Spaldwick, so they'd been keeping us back while it was pushed on to the verge.
And from there on, almost the entire journey was in rain that varied between torrential and monsoon-like, all the way home - where it's now stoppedComment

Is this a sign of the coming Apocalypse, I wonder?Comment
