Sandwiches have been made, and shirts have been ironed. Slightly less faffing around to deal with in the morning

I was supposed to take various bits of identification with me today for ClientCo's vetting process. Naturally I forgot them all, apart from my driving licence which I have with me anyway. But whoever was supposed to ask me for them forgot too, so I got away with it. I've stuck them in my bag in case I'm not so lucky tomorrow

    Goodnight all

Couldn't sleep. Can now, but it's time to get up.

Wish I could sleep right now, rather than sit in a nightmare meeting where we've discussed a perfect solution then a little scrote from the US has piped up to say that it isn't how the management in the US has decided how to do it.
Why the change? No idea, but it's claimed it is a better business solution that we "technical people" wouldn't understand. I explain that our reason is business, not technical. Pointed out flaws in his/management idea. He's still not buying it.
