Seriously bad day today. Its all action on the loan scheme. Invalid invoice from my shrink - I already paid. And I have discovered that getting into teaching in Wales is a lot tougher than getting into teaching in England.....

At least I still have 2 jobs awaiting 2nd interview.....

      MrsBP has been brilliant.

I am wondering if I should ever tell the numpties in general that I have only been divorced once? Actually - probably not. I like the attention.....

You can ask the RHS, or ask the guys at Orchard Pig.

Is it a cooker or eater? Have you tried making cider from it?
It's an eater, though I generally use it as a cooker, for which it's rather nice.

Well it's rain, hail, snow, and murrain of beasts all over again again this afternoon.

Popped down to Sainsbury's Prime. Leaving the house it was a lovely sunny afternoon. Driving home (about two miles) it was grey, then rainy, then wet snow, then a kind of mixture of rain, hail, and snow. By the time I'd parked back at home the sun was out again

Good news! Going to use up the Bacon That Must Be Eaten Today (applewood smoked) I discovered that far from the six rashers it was supposed to have held, of which three should have been left, it had somehow been packed with eight, leaving five. So I'm having two bacon cobs for my late lunch rather than one

Enjoy a year of weather in one walk to the station

Booger it. Was just about to go for the big dog walk and I heard a rumble of thunder. Now it's either hail falling slowly or it's snowing
…Maybe we ain’t that young anymore
