I once worked at 3i opposite waterloo station. 1992. They promoted Guinness bitter during Ascot week. We did regular raids to see how many free cans we could grab. 3rd had 47 cans. I was 2nd with 75. One chap got 156 cans! He was so tight - they had a free canteen and he would have a huge breakfast/lunch then not eat for dinner......

The big downside was being next to the union jack club. IRA were always threatening to bomb it. Then we would be evacuated too....
