They lied about the rain here. It rained in the middle of the afternoon not in the evening as predicted.

Give them a bell they will tell you & fit it.

you are tighter than I am.

I've fitted and removed the battery in that car plenty of times - only takes a couple of minutes

Seemingly not needed after all, but thanks for the concern.

Docs have been doing scans and whatnot, but the worst seems to be over, for now anyway.

Full time care is going to have to be an option, but that decision will have to be taken by my other brothers as they will not take any advice from me. It's also a matter of costs as we don't really have an nhs type deal in the ould sod.

Needless to say this weekend is not going to be fun by any means.

Dinner tonight was a corn-fed poussin rescued from the freezer - I think it was about six months ago I stuck it in there, though it may be longer

Roasted, with spuds, peas, and gravy

Though the remains of the other night's chicken cacciatore have taken up residence in the freezer, so it's roughly evens on the whole reclaiming-space-in-there business

Just checked the label, and it was use by 16 April 2015 - so nearly a year old
