Its been manic for last week so I am pleased. I might break something tomorrow if its still quiet.
I have not had a real job since 2010.
The good news about the current gig is that I tell the Bobs what to do. I think there is a lot more dev jobs due to go to India in IBs. I really hope I am wrong.
It would be better if they followed DB example and moved to Birmingham....

Shopping done, including getting the prescription filled. I finally got around to filling in one of those forms to nominate them as my chosen pharmacy for the electronic prescription service, which means (in theory) that I no longer have to faff about sorting out my repeat prescriptions.
I couldn't do this before because they only opened for about 7 minutes at weekends. But now they open late all week and are open all day Sunday, so even if I'm working away I'll still have the opportunity to get there without having to dash around like a mad thing.
I'm now making a crusty sausage cob in celebration of not having to do any more shopping for a few days

Also, I don't feel like cooking dinner, as I'm still fairly sated from the sausage cob earlier. Might just have a ham cob in a bit, given that I've got all these cobs to use up

When I was working in Cambridge the other year, she came in the pub one evening with a group of what appeared to be visiting academics from foreign lands. They went and sat in the garden though, so I've no idea of her conversational prowess.
