Day 3 here at clientco. So far I've spent a day sitting around and a day and a half unboxing an old delivery of switches. I get the distinct impression that I've been brought in to use up budget before the year end but no-one is quite sure what use I am. Of course I "can't learn the network" in only a month.
If anyone wonders why the NHS is in such a poor financial state, perhaps bringing in contract resource and then using them for unboxing kit might be somewhere in there.
Still, can't complain - head down and keep invoicing...Comment
