I've just been woken up by an esteemed customer.

The first of our lot that I've seen today.

Home made burgers on the egg for lunch.

Am debating whether I spark it up again and do chicken fajitas for tea. Trying to make the most of the weather.

And straightaway we're into IR35 fun times. Seems they're treating me like a temp worker.

                    1. Need to sign for a copy of the NHS Candidate Handbook which is full of rules about "temporary worker"s and "supervisor"s as well as stipulations that I must "abide by the Working Time Regulations 1998" and "work as directed by the supervisor and follow all requests, instructions..."
                    2. Need to sign a "candidate declaration form" confirming that I give the agency permission to run a credit check on me, declare any CCJs or litigation, warrant that my CV is completely correct and can provide references for 5 years... All a bit overboard as this isn't going anywhere near finance. It finishes with me asking to declare whether I wish to opt in or out of the working time regulations...

and more.... I'm waiting for the contract template to come through and the whole lot is going to Qdos.

                      Well there we are.

The ex-lustee just popped in for a chat.

And the other chap who's just moved into the room down the end has got bored enough to go home.

Which is what I'll be doing in roughly 33 minutes.

                      Or so.
