Just popped over to Sainsbury's Local. The young lady on the checkout was much less chipper than usual, telling me the total price in the hushed tones of a verger soliciting donations at the entrance to a cathedral. I diagnose a fairly profound hangover

I find myself in the unusual position of telling people that a pic that's all over Twitter is not, in fact, Photoshopped

Just had shower and got dressed. I think that counts as today's achievement.

Do these people not know how social media works, there is no place for fact and intelligent debate

              Duly watched.

Oddly, a Granada/Carlton production for PBS, with WGBH Boston having a finger in there somewhere.

The different Jim Chee was much the same as the previous one.

And Lt. Longhorn made a much improved addition to the cast.

They even managed to get Captain Largo into it.

                Gosh.

The Archers version of "Calendar Girls" is about to begin.

The pictures are much better on the wireless.

That Elizabeth Archer, wot's she like, the tart?

                  W00T!

I've decided I can't be bothered to go to the pub tonight. I don't think that counts as an achievement, though

I don't know what Ambridge is coming to. I remember the terrible fuss (which was probably just the newspapers, not any real listeners) over them broadcasting the sound of Shula Archer kissing some bloke back in the 1970s
