Bought some stuff. It'll do at that. Every other f***er can have nice wine. The kids are sorted which is all that really counts, imo.
The shops are all hideously hot in this tropical weather too. There were many miserable specimens trailing about in Christmas jumpers. I pitied the fools. :-)Comment

It's turned very windy and a bit showery. I may leave shopping until this evening
I only need to get some cards and wrapping paper anyway. Maybe I can get them from the Sainsbury's Local over the road… though I doubt their card selection will be up to much.Comment

Momentary power failure just now. Lights went off for a fraction of a second, then stuttered back on. It was long enough to power off the iMac, though no apparent damage done - it's on a surge suppressor, which hopefully smoothed things out.

Whilst lunch was some lentil <pffft> soup, tea was spag bol followed by some rather antique Xmas pud (BBE Nov 15 so quite new really, the 2014 one is much more mature) with custard.
