IR remote trauma: the £10 remote I bought for my £7.99 Panasonic tv stopped working on Sunday evening.
It sort of worked again if I turned the tv off & back on again.
It stopped working again yesterday evening.
In a fit of enthusiasm, I went next door to ZeitTowers and got the remote for the other Panasonic tv.
Which did work.
So it wasn't the tv that was fecked.
So then I had a moment of clarity.
I change the batteries in the new remote.
Problemo solved.
Whilst doing this I noticed that the remote had a microUSB socket in the battery compartment, presumably so you can reprogram it.
Interesting.Comment
