Really don't much fancy a parkrun this morning.

What you want is a double crust pie.

The trick is to blind bake the base first so you don't get a soggy bottom.

Alternatively, forgo the namby pamby short crust pastry and go straight for the suet puddings

I never blind bake mine and have a nice crispy bottom every time.

Bright, sunny morning here, though it's a bit chilly and rather windy

Any snow managed to pass us by completely it seems

I managed a swim. I even did some shopping afterwards.

But when I went to empty my swim kit there were no goggles. And no water bottle.

There was a locker key!

I left them both there. I will have to go back....
