The worst bit was telling ZeitMater.

However, it sounds like he had a bit of a rally this morning, had a visitor around lunchtime, then went to sleep & didn't wake up.

After the last week of ?hallucinations?, it sounds like a blessed relief.

    I shall miss him.

He was a better man than I in oh so many ways.

That would surely be the demise of choice.

And to add to the joy of it all, the fecking car had a flat tyre when I backed it out of the garage.

        In the pouring rain.

Which had fecking started just as I returned home.

However, the Lidl(tm) mains powered tyre inflator did what it said on the tin.

First thing tomorrow: buy two new tyres.

2nd thing tomorrow: arrange MOT on car.

3rd thing tomorrow: out of office message.

4th thing tomorrow: go register death.

5th thing tomorrow: visit funeral home.

          Yup.

Apparently he asked for coffee & porridge this morning, had some of the coffee, but didn't eat the porridge.

          And there you go.

At least now he's at peace.

The last 3 weeks have been fairly awful.
            Very sorry to hear that

              How did ZeityMater take it?

Almost everyone wants an original copy of the death certificate - so worth getting several.

Do you have any siblings? There is so much to do - on top of the grief - so good if you can share it round if possible...

              Best of luck.

                ZeitMater was very upset.

                Though she'll forget.

                I was thinking of 5 or 6 certificates since they're only £4 a copy.

And he's got shedloads of accounts and suchlike.

                Deep joy.

That was from the Piccadilly Line eastbound platform. I prefer the Northern Line, but it doesn't go the right way for me this evening
