Found more ancient photos of people long gone, such as my aunt, who died, as a result of rheumatic fever affecting her heart, at the grand old age of 22, back in 1949.

Plus a very nice photo of ZeitGrandfather, and another of ZeitGrandfather & ZeitMater, in his greenhouse.

And an even more impressive photo of ZeitGrandfather's big greenhouse in bits after a storm back in the 40s.

You're probably the best kind of aunt in a different way

Nice sunny day. Still in my PJs - really should get dressed...

            Afternoon denizens

            Sunny here too

The weather app is predicting rain tomorrow. That'll be happening because I'm driving down to London. Sorry about that

The police helicopter is buzzing about, presumably because of the Rugby World Cup match at, confusingly, the soccer company's place

Been working since 8am. My lovely big sis has cooked me dinner and bought me wine

Have found my pome. No gardens involved.

Don't think of her as gone away
                  her journey's just begun,
                  life holds so many facets
                  this earth is only one.

Just think of her as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.

Think how she must be wishing
                  that we could know today
                  how nothing but our sadness
                  can really pass away.

And think of her as living
in the hearts of those she touched.
for nothing loved is ever lost
and she was loved so much.

Had to use up the sausages, so it was breakfast for dinner

                      Rather lovely good choice.
Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.
