I've got all of those, neatly arranged on the shelf waiting for me to watch themOriginally posted by zeitghost View PostI also have all the dvds which arrived today.
Which includes "Civilisation" with Ken Clarke, "The Ascent of Man" with Jacob Bronowski, and much else.
Lighter stuff is "America" with Alistair Cooke.

And very nice it was tooOriginally posted by NickFitz View PostIn the chippy, waiting on cod

They're still frying new potatoes, but I suppose that's just one of those things that happens when the planet has seasons
Still very nice chips, despite that
I tried to think of a suitable "Waiting-for-Godot-but-with-cod" pun, but one didn't come to mind before it was ready

Late to bed last night. Missing pussy cat. One had escaped, but turned up at the kitchen door unscathed. No idea how she got out - upstairs window the only real possibility, but that's a hell of a drop. Need to book them in to get them "done", then we can let them out proper.Comment
