I've been rearranging the spider's webs in my bedroom, vaccing places that haven't been vacced for some years, killing black mould with Dettol Agent Orange, and polishing the furniture with furniture polish.

Bedroom now reeks & stinks.

It's never too early

A fry-up has somewhat restored my energy. I've even managed to get the laundry on.

You do seem remarkably domesticated for a GAL. Take a week off and go somewhere nice. I did my first completely solo holiday last year (Inca Trail) - I found it quite a liberating experience, and not as scary as I'd feared.

I'm back in "work" for 3 days this week, starting on Wednesday.

This is to tick some feckwhit Human Remains box re not taking more than 3 weeks off in a block.

So I'm taking 2 week blocks separated by 3 days.

Considering the tape is some 46 years old it's a frigging miracle it plays at all.

And I don't suppose there's a lot of people around who know much about quad vtrs any more.
