Well instead of digging in the garden I've been lopping limbs off a dying alder tree in the back lane.

Unlike almost every other tree, this one leans over the lane not the canal.

And if it falls, most of it will land on my garage.

So I've lightened it a bit.

My B&D sabre saw saw* off some of the smaller limbs.

Chap down the road lopped off the larger ones with his petrol chainsaw.

*saw as in see rather than saw as in sawed.

Just had a curry muncher on the phone rabbiting on about some loan of £5000 I took out in 2003 & paid back in 2008.

I must say that it was news to me.

Presumably some scam or other.

Had my name right though.
