31.7 miles cycled. I think this confirms my suspicion that I was not fit enough for the Runnymede ride.

    One geocache located.

Place overrun with lycra clad oiks on bicycles.

Had to resist temptation to run same over.

      With extreme prejudice.

No denial of the lycra cladding though!

I see you have learnt the art of sneaking a grade a insult through by applying too many others for them all to be contradicted.

Just back from a craft fair as Mrs Eek was at an afternoon tea hen party.... Didn't do too badly (or at least better than Mrs Eek did on the earlier shift)...

Who says it's an insult? It might be a fantasy! (TykeMerc hasn't met me...!)

                  Indeed not.

The lycra clad oiks to whom I refer are blocking the traffic in Neath.

There must be some sort of race on.

Which sort of begs the question of why they are permitted so to do to the inconvenience of the MVD paying public.

It's even more dicey when they hold their races on the A465, but more fun when you can zoom past at 70 odd mph in the outside lane.

Not only that, but said oiks appeared to be escorted by some form of plod on a motorcycle.

And, as appears to be usual, the highway code and traffic lights don't appear to apply if you're an oik.

Don't get me started on mountain bikers.

I was very impressed the other day by a non-oik bicycling gentleman who rang the bell on his velocipede to warm another gentleman on the tow path ahead of him that the first gentleman was approaching.

It made such a refreshing change.
