I've just had to explain to the interfaces team that the reason they can't find a file in the "archive" directory is because they haven't moved it there yet.

Their job is to get the file from the correct directory, transfer it somewhere, and then move the original into the folder labelled "archive".

Maybe I should have just sent them a definition of the word "archive" which you would think is pretty clear.
