Cycle commute today. Tried to beat my Strava segment time up the first hill - now sitting at my desk coughing like an 80 a day smoker.

As I'm sure you're all dying to know - I was 10 seconds slower.

A largish (glassful) slug of Southern Comfort (or two) has relieved the resultant cough which has persisted all day.

I probably shouldn't post my views on religion now.

Looks like I might be up in that there London towards the end of the month. We're probably overdue London drinkies. Wonder if it's worth trying Ship and Shovel again (not least coz Clientco's client, to whom my services are to be rendered, are very close by...)

Rosy light from the east again, but that happened yesterday and there turned out to be fairly dense fog in the countryside; so we shall see, or not, as the case may be
