    Was drink riding allowed back then?!

      I remember seeing it when it was first broadcast - 24 January 1990, apparently. It was a Sunday night, and it ran from eight till ten in the evening, though of course it finished a few minutes before ten, because commercials had to be shown.

          Afternoon all.

          I've lost 3/4 stone since last weekend.

          It's a hell of a way to do it* though.

          *Norovirus is worse, trust me on that.

            I used to be quite good at plastering. The saying 'practice makes perfect' seems to be most appropriate following this morning's efforts. Actually;

            'feck it, it's not getting any better' or
            'what time does the pub open'

            seem more appropriate but i'm trying to be philosophical about the situation.

              Even worser, my drinking arm aches. Wonder if i'll get barred for asking for a straw?

                Afternoon

                The question you need to ask yourself is, how unpleasant would the necessary amount of exercise have been?

                    Shopping has been done. God, the shops are a hateful place on Saturday lunchtime

                    But it's over now, and I have enough meat and drink to keep me going until the Bank Holiday weekend begins
