I never agreed with the attitude that universities were somehow superior to polytechnics anyway. They served different purposes: universities were more focused on purely academic studies, whereas polys focused on teaching stuff that was actually useful. Well, except the Fine Art department

MR N always gives me stick about it, but technically I almosts have 1 and half degrees, I switched halfway through a Genetics degree.

Wondering what the odds are that I'll wake up at 6am in the morning despite having no need to and no alarm, just out of habit
When I'm doing early starts I usually find I wake up an hour or so before I need to, regardless of the alarm, look at the time and then go back to sleep. The trick is not dozing off again after switching off the alarm.
