    Highlight of the day: haircut.

Today will be a better day than yesterday.

          It had better be.

Ah, nice sunny day for a walk. Might pick up a bottle of wine for the evening. GF#1 made a load of scones for last weekend, most of which didn't get eaten, so that's my afternoon snacks all catered for!

I'm looking forward to having one of those.

                  In a meeting room

If I lean back and twist my head around, I can see the feet of people walking past outside. *yearns for freedom*

Woken up with a slight pain in the throat (endoscope related), but "everything else" is fine

Sacrificed Bacon butty for Porridge at breakfast

Sacrificed full fat latte for a cup of Yorkshire tea at breakfast

Packed a lean turkey breast sarnie for lunch

Found the fitbit, dusted the crap off it and planned-in a 2 mile walk at after lunch

Planned-in a 25 km ride on exercise bike for the evening

You could minimise your carb intake as well as upping the exercise.

I like to make a fruit smoothie and add some porridge oats to it for breakfast.

I don't not eat carbs out of choice, never really say the point in buying a loaf of bread for the two of us when neither of us do bread.

Will make soda bread occasionally, and sour dough, I blame cojak she got me into sour dough.

Managed to escape from the meeting by pointing out that I really had nothing of value to contribute to the proceedings, which involved writing some document for a departmental audit. This was accepted as a good point

Now, amazing scenes as I actually use some of the workflow tools I've implemented over the last few months to set up DNS records for a new server and record its details in the configuration management system, which then allowed me to do something useful

Well, when I say "useful", it was just submitting a request to a department in the US to do something else, after which I'll be able to do something. But that's as useful as things get
