    Both look delicious !!

Reminds me of the soup I had at a place called Sukhothai in Leeds. I always have Massaman beef for mains!

Thanks and they don't taste half bad either.

Todays menu is creamed mushrooms on toasted sour dough
Lamb rogan josh ( Cafe spice namste recipe)
      Rice pudding

Lovely smell of rice pudding coming from the kitchen atm
Lamb is marinading in yoghurt and garlic and ginger.

        Sounds interesting!

I'll buy a bunch of curry leaves on my way home from Bradford and make fish and curry leaf stew served with a kg of rice

Mmm, you should try their springbok bhuna. It was amazing!

Just remembered, the car was on "should be enough if I fill up on the way home" levels of petrol this morning.

Wonder if the sitting around in queues this morning has left enough to get me back?

Kilo of rice? How many peeps are you feeding?

I buy 2kg and it lasts me months.

I need to stock up on more curry leaves.

Used to live up Leeds way many moons ago, had my first ever curry in Bradford.

                      .
What variety of rice do you use for your curries?

Try a variety called Sona Masauri instead of the basmathi or long grain. They are available in asian stores.

A chat with the shop owner will really help know the diff varieties for the type of curry/stew !
