Its a bit early for a suicidal bin. We only started plastic recycling back in October (in theory there was no need as all waste went via an accelerator previously where food wasted away before everything else was sorted and recycled).

I think you'll find the internet was invented for the distribution of pornography.

Not having to go the to the Apple store is just a secondary benefit.

Just had mother on the phone. She seems a lot better this week - much more with it. I'm sure the fact that she's got the tablets on a timer so is taking them as scheduled is helping.

They've got a meeting after church tomorrow about gay marriage. I'm guessing this is to decide whether their church should conduct such ceremonies.

"I don't give a damn about it, they can do what they want."

Well there you are mother, you do have an opinion that you should voice.

"...But I don't think they should get married."

The church I (currently occassionally) attend is rather high CofE with a curate who is from the very traditional absolutely no women priests side of the church.

Considering its also the most liberal church in the area (gay married couples willingly accepted) I'm sure the bishop dislikes him so sent him there on purpose.

You found you liked it, then?

A chap I used to work for in my days in the licensed trade was fond of saying "There's no such thing as a bad port; there are only better ports."

I always assumed I didn't like port. Maybe I'm thinking of sherry.

Just been at a champagne tasting dinner.

It was in a deli so got chatting with the guys who hosted, one of the guys is a beer importer and have me some to take home

Fun evening, interesting wine and food matches.

Will of course be blogging about it.
