Wow,that's a lot of Saturdays! I took some time off running and then bashed my toe, so desperate to get back. Back to doing 7 - 10mi, now to get quicker!Originally posted by mudskipper View PostYep, still plodding along. Bit muddy and horrible at the moment. Settle for just getting round. #117 tomorrow. Should be better at it by now.Comment

Sounds good. My hip still complains every time I run, so I'm sticking with 5k at the moment. I seem to be getting slower, not quicker though!Originally posted by vwdan View PostWow,that's a lot of Saturdays! I took some time off running and then bashed my toe, so desperate to get back. Mine's nowt fancy, just glass, use it for wine.Originally posted by mudskipper View PostOurs is a typical 80s cut crystal one. Pretty sure you're not supposed to leave wine in them because of lead poisoning. Have poured myself a small glass of port. Think one is going to be enough. Perhaps this is the key to moderation.
Moderation? What's that??
I had a rather nice negroni from those spirits I bought yesterday.
I may have to have another one.Comment

Could someone please tell me what the hell Wales have been doing in the second half?
Most of England's decent players are off with injury for this championship and Wales are fielding a halfway decent team, but have decided to snooze this half.Comment

Also the ref has been making some well dodgy decisions.Comment

I do worry about the future of my joints, I have to say. I'm not convinced running is good for you, really. And doing my weighted runs certainly isn't.Originally posted by mudskipper View PostSounds good. My hip still complains every time I run, so I'm sticking with 5k at the moment. I used to run competitively for years, track and field etc... Now running is not an option, my ankles and knees tend to complain.Originally posted by vwdan View PostI do worry about the future of my joints, I have to say. Badminton and pilates are now becoming an issue for my wrists from Aikido many years ago.
I'll stick to walking.Comment
