Ah, they've responded to me on Twitter now. Much better - a real person rather than some automated recording

Big water main burst nearby, it seems. I've stocked up a bit from the all-night garage now, but I'm damned if I'm putting it down the bog at those prices. Things could get smelly…

Crivens! Apparently the local Highways department are now rushing sandbags to the vicinity of the water main leak to protect homes, according to the local plod account on Twitter! I seem to have got off comparatively lightly

Then again, if a flood got up to the first floor, we'd all have bigger problems

You'll have to get some Um Bongo scented (nearly put flavoured there ) Pot Pouri for yours in that case!

I may have to sign up for this reason. I'm forever hearing of people getting stuff sorted after whinging on twitter. Clientco employs a very camp man to do twittering and he has to be appraised of all developments which are implemented so that he can respond accordingly. Well, most developments. Changes to the underwriting procedures are unlikely to stick in his bouncy-clappy little mind.

Anyway, the point I was thinking of was that rather than phoning and writing letters to those wunkers at NPower I might actually get them to send me a bill rather than their standard collections reminders by simply tweeting about it. I wonder....

I may have to hand in my Grub Club card.

The Doc says I have a hiatus hernia, which is why the only meat I've been able to eat lately is minced.

My digestion can no longer cope with the food at the esteemed establishments they frequent, nor the times they frequent them (I can't eat after 7.30 and expect to sleep that night...)

Oh no (the medical condition not the loss to grub club) can it be fixed?

So people actually read articles rather than just the sensationalised headlines?!

It can be managed. I'm ok with that, it's not life-threatening.

I'm still experimenting with the medication/life style changes atm, so it's all a bit topsy turvy meal wise.

No, but it's lifestyle inhibiting. I was under the impression that a repair operation was fairly straightforward - so don't "just live with it" if the lifestyle changes don't help.

                      Morning all

Watching the tennis on telly. Hoping that the arrogant, insensitive, childish scot gets destroyed.

Find it funny how the commentators keep saying about the calming influence his coach has on him. No wonder, you need it having luggage like Kim
