Big sis is teetotal.
She spent the day looking after mother.
She's just downed the best part of a bottle of wine.Comment

Tipping down outside. No snow, though.
I encountered a bit of snow in the Peak District on Saturday teatime, but it doesn't seem to travel this far south.Comment

Found an idiotic bug in Google Maps for iPad
- Open Maps in landscape orientation.
- Drop a pin: a sidebar with information about that location appears at the left of the screen.
- Switch to several other apps, preferably ones that use a lot of memory such as playing a video on YouTube, so that Maps will have been chucked out of main memory.
- Switch back to Maps.
- Maps will restore itself to the state it was in when purged from memory, including showing the sidebar, and the zoom level you were at; but the map itself will be centered at latitude 0, longitude 0
Reported to the incompetent buffoons at Google. Wonder if they'll ever fix itComment
