Fruitless morning with DIY, wanted to change the light bulb in the front porch light, started to take off various bits of panneling to discover the previous owners had fecked the threads in the screws and had screwed some in so bleedin' tight I cannot remove them.
So decided to put panels back on only to find that the threads were fecked and it was rust holding the screws in, in the first place.
Off to the cloggy equivalent of B&Q now to try and find a new porch lightComment

I simply couldn't cope with a cat at the moment.
Especially one who's continually digging the furniture and trying to kill me on the stairs.Comment

Will still have to head to cloggy B&Q as I need to check out some cheap curtains and rails to put in front of the garage door to stop a draft.Comment

In other news its very slowly starting to dawn on an agent that there is a reason why we know what the going rate for our skill set is locally.
The only other contractor within 100 miles of here with the skill set sits next to me every day....merely at clientco for the entertainmentComment
