This SSL/TLS stuff is actually quite interesting

I now have Apache on the old MacBook (in the other room) serving up a website to the MBA (on my lap in here) over HTTPS, though only with a self-signed certificate.

Now to get Apache in here to act as a secure reverse proxy for Apache over there and serve up the same content

This is actually really handy, as there's a general movement afoot (spearheaded by Google) to get everything moved over to HTTPS, and in particular they're aiming at HTTP APIs at the moment - they were making a big thing of it at that developer conference of theirs last week, apparently. So being able to reverse-proxy SSL/TLS is going to be something a lot of people need, Real Soon Now.

I should write a blog post about it. has dinner and goes to the pub instead

Twas a tad misleading on the prognostication front.

                  It drizzled whilst I gardened.

Once I'd got bored with gardening, and seeing that it wasn't quite dark, I got the ZeitFiat out of the garage & gave it a burn up & down the A465 between Llandarcy and Resolven.

It's a ridiculously fun little car.
