Ask Pondy, he does pulled pork a lot.

Cat is asleep in his radiator hammock / bed, snoring so loudly it's breaking my concentration.

One of ours snores so loudly he often wakes us up.

I had a rescue moggy like that many years ago. He had a heart condition that affected his breathing and meant he snored like a chainsaw. He'd sneak into the bedroom at night and go to sleep under the bed. The snoring would wake us up but when you prodded him to stop it he was so glad of the attention he'd start purring instead, just as loudly.

Because the house would feel empty without him.

                  Exactly.

I also have someone to keep me company when working from home.
