                  Been here 3 and a bit years and just had my first voicemail on ClientCo's phone system. Had no idea I even had voicemail set up. It took me 15 minutes to work out how to retrieve it, and it just said "please call me".

                    Greetings denizens

                    Much faffing about getting stupid agency stuff sorted for the new gig. In my view, agencies that want to hire people to start at short notice for short-term gigs should have a procedure in place allowing them to waive all the procedures they have in place that only make sense if you're hiring something like a new governor of the Bank of England
