Day off today.

Plan is to go for a short run, have a bath, head up to London to see the poppies and perhaps wander round a gallery (was thinking about the tower which I haven't been to since I was a kid, but guess it'll be super-busy at the mo), then off to CH for pie and Honeydew.

ms#4 tells me she's also in London today, so might meet up with her.

The last time I was in there, Eena Sharples was still in Corrie.

Used to go there during the 19:30 break between lectures when I was doing my HNC.

It's now with the lecturer he was recording.

I popped over the road to the shop a few minutes ago. Emasculated brazen simians everywhere

Must be very worrying.

Made lentil <pffffft> soup last evening.

3/4 of the way through I discovered I had no parsnips.

Got in car, drove down to Morrisons.

They had no parsnips.

Bugger.

Drove to Tesco in Neath Abbey & hurrah! they had bags of decently sized parsnips.

So I bought some, and 2.5kg of spuds & some yoghurt & came home.

Naturally, during my bath, whilst I couldn't stir the damn thing, it caught, despite being on low.

Ho fecking hum.

Hope it didn't ruin it coz it's got to be eaten no matter wot.
