Very good money, almost as good as my worse year as a contractor, but with holiday, a car and pension, but the biggest lure is being close to home and the kids, I have gotten to like milling around with the yummy mummies on a morning at the school gate

I will be going to the Hawksmoor the weekend I am in London in December, I am there till sunday so making a full weekend of it, not sure if the person I am going to comic con would fully enjoy the hawksmoor, they are saying for a treat we can go to N*ndos

Well if you're on the mainland it's almost lunch.

I do like chicken, but I like to know where the food comes from and franchises like nandos will not give a tulip about battery farming, so I've avoided them.

I won't know about the xmas bash till first week in October as that will be when I can attempt to book Noma as they only take bookings 2 months in advance.

Speaking of bookings I need to book hotels and make appointments with vineyards for the trip to France.

Getting better, thanks for asking. At least it's not as bad as the last one.

Went well, good chance to show my face, make sympathetic noises about industry issues and show off, sorry, answer some specific technical questions in just enough detail to to make it clear I know what I'm talking about without actually solving the entire problem for them there and then

Couple of potential leads of the back of it. Will see what comes up.

In other news it appears ex-client co have neglected to tell the agent I no-longer work for them so my time sheet access is still working. As is my client co email.

Not surprised as I effectively had to tell tech support I was handing my kit back in and then give it to them and then escort myself out of the building last week.

                  Fingers crossed for you.

I've had to remind human remains that my last day is the end of the month as manager messed up the contract dates. Was supposed to finish mid October, but person I was replacing came back sooner than they thought.

Got my language assessment meeting tomorrow for new cloggy course.

Course is stupidly expensive but its supposed to get good results, Mr N's work is paying for him to do it and he's going in a couple of weeks, I may wait and see how he gets on before I commit my hard earned moolah. Can't put it though the company unfortunately
