We're in the middle of sorting our finances out before applying for a mortgage in a few months - so I'm tidying up my credit cards. Anyway, called up Barclaycard as I hadn't decided if to close theirs or my banks and they dropped 4% off the APR within about 5 minutes. Apparently they can (potentially) do this once a year... Interesting to know!Comment

A chap in screwfix asked if my drill had an overtorque clutch on it.
Which it doesn't, having come from Lidl(tm).
Apparently if the core drill sticks (which it will), instead of the drill turning, I will instead.
