I'm heading off with the Fleet CTC for a 40 miler. Prob gonna drive to the meet point, 'cause I'm knackered and not feeling very motivated. We'll have a cake stop half way for refuelling Having mother round for dinner (roast beef) later.

Just don't do what I did and come off your bike 20 miles from home, breaking your rear mech hanger in the process. It had at least stopped raining.

Just found a wodge of fivers that ZeitMater had "hidden" in a jar marked "Tea" in the middle bedroom.

Just found a wodge of fivers that ZeitMater had "hidden" in a jar marked "Tea" in the middle bedroom.

What type are they?

"The initial printing of several million Stephenson notes was destroyed when it was noticed that the wrong year for his death had been printed. The original issue of the Fry banknote was withdrawn after it was found the ink on the serial number could be rubbed off the surface of the note, these notes are now very rare and sought after amongst collectors. Nice ride today, slightly shorter than planned as we were late leaving. Did about 35 miles.

Crushed thumbnail, scraped shin, bruised hip. I'll live. Had to phone MrsB for roadside recovery.

More worried about damage to the bike. Rear mech is badly scratched up but won't be able to tell if anything is bent out of alignment until I get the hanger replaced and put it back together.
