According to the Met Office's animated map of observations, a chunk of rain came our way about half an hour ago, split in two to go around the city, then joined up again on the other side. Very considerate of itComment

I had an agent call me on Friday who had got hold of my CV from jobsite before I hid it (I've been updating it in readiness for my next move). Apparently a bank 'based in the North West' is beginning a project and would be very keen to interview me.
Not so keen after hearing my rate though, I suspect (which was hiked up by 10% to counter the inevitable 2 months in...)
I'm expecting him to call me tomorrow to try to 'negotiate' - it will make for an entertaining 2 minutes..."I can put any old tat in my sig, put quotes around it and attribute to someone of whom I've heard, to make it sound true."

New contract should appear tomorrow. Need to fire it over to QDOS for a look. Hopefully won't be much needing changed.Comment

Well there's 3 and a quarter lawns cut.
I was a quarter of the way through the big lawn when a torrential shower began.
Soaked to the skin in about 30 seconds.
I hope the mower survives.
