Knocked up a quick Python/Django script to import the UK postcode data that was leaked on Wikileaks back in 2009, just to play with. Having debugged the script in Pycharm and got it all working smoothly, I set it running. It took about 50 minutes to import the entire set.
Then I went to debug something else in Pycharm. Unfortunately, I'd forgotten that the shortcut debugger button uses the last-debugged configuration, so when I hit it, it started the import script again. And the first thing the script does is to drop the table and re-create it.
So now I'm importing it all againComment
