Last night I was bug free only documentation to do. I'm now fixing the 85 other bugs belonging to the person who has replaced the email system at the last minute...

Last night I was also bug free until someone decided to run the application on an unsupported platform and has started to whinge that there are errors.

It's not as bad as I feared. 41 of them date from before the system was redesigned and rewritten so I'm just double checking and closing them

That's arguably quite a valid test if you're looking for security leaks. Another variant is testing a web application in an unsupported browser.
