In other news today, our local council have now been forced via a referendum to revisit a decision to cut down the trees one one side of this road that leads to a castle. It's a very popular local beauty spot and 60% of locals have now made clear they don't want it spoilt.

Dull, grey and cold here.
Offset slightly by the bacon butty I had for breakfast with the new batch of home cured bacon.
Mrs B had some. In her words "It's nicer than the supermarket stuff, but I prefer smoked really."
I now have an excuse to by a smoker.
