Good dry run on the Ninja. Have noticed on the tyre wear on the sides that I'm leaning at quite ambitious angles now that the weather is getting better!
I'm not sure I could ever go back to a car again when I commute. Having lived in this area of Surrey for 15 years now, the traffic is insane. It used to be like a little village with a few cars pottering around. Now it's perpetual gridlock. I often don't feel like going anywhere at the weekend by car because of the hassle. And when you finally arrive at your destination, 20,000,000 people are also there.
At least on the bike if the school run mums don't knock you flying, there's at least some freedom of filtering around the gridlocks and having a consistent commute time.
GF#1 is back - and I get a pressie! Woohooo! A large Spanish chorizo!
If you think my attitude stinks, you should smell my fingers.

Sure that wasn't a present for her?

Am dreading Saturday's meet and greet from the perspective of not knowing how many people are turning up and if I'll have enough ''gebak'' for everyone.
Need to borrow a coffee maker off someone, as my mate turned up with the coffee and tea urns, and my small cafetiere isn't going to cut it with filling up the coffee.
Round 2 of biscotti making this evening and also the freezer biscuit mix (all I need to do Friday is cut the biscuits and stick them in the oven), biscotti keep for ages so are great to make in advance.
Friday I'll also make the flapjacks and chocolate biscuit cake.
Doesn't sound exotic but given we have potentially 70 if not more people turning up, I'm keeping things simple, as well as limiting people to 2 hours.
