Took ZeitMater for a drive in the sun.

This time it was along the Afan valley to the Bwlch, right at the top.

Wonderful views of windmills & valleys glinting gently in the rays.

They seem to have clear felled shedloads of trees.

Always a hit with GMIL. She's not interested in going to shops or anything like that (half the time she tells us she's just got back when we turn up to visit, she hasn't).

A bimble about the country side in the car with a stop for a cuppa somewhere, usually the same somewhere as she never remembers she's been there before and the combination of decent tea and cake and easy wheelchair access is not that common, and she's happy as Larry.

The only complication is having to explain to her that she lives in the care home every time we get back, and that it's not a hotel or a guest house and we are not going to abandon her there on her own.
