Ended up completing on the church so that we're at least in control of our losses - if we'd not completed, we would have lost the deposit of 10% plus still been liable for any losses the vendors had. Time to clean it a little bit before taking it back to auction.

I take it you are waiting a couple of months before selling to allow the internet history to disappear. Still planning to come and have a look around if thats ok by you.

Don't think so - want to get shot of it so we can look for something else. Need to wait for the land registry to update the title document, so we can prove we own it before we can sell it.

I'll be updating the website with some decent pictures and a history, so if people want to find it they can and it might stir up some interest.

Someone my wife knows runs the "Wreck of the Week" blog which could be good if we can get in there as well.
