In other news, it appears that the gun fired in "Dirty Harry" was actually a 45 long colt, rather than an actual Model 29 in 44 mag, coz they didn't make 44 mag blanks in those days.
My illusions have been shattered.
Not that there's much difference between a full bore 45 long colt & a "light 44 special".
