It's catch-22.
I can't move the bookcases, because the current desk is in the way.
I can't move the desk because everything is on it and it would stop me "working" while I move everything.
I don't want to have to wait for the new desk before I do anything.Comment

I also don't know what I'm going to do with the desk when the new one comes. Ideally, it would suit the girls, but it's too big and too nice for them to have at this stage.Comment

Think I might end up sticking it in the other corner, leaving enough space round it to walk to the bookcases, and turning it into a convenient dumping group for the stuff that ends up in here.Comment
