              The annoying thing is this is a new lecturer... his opening gambit was to show the kids how to do things around the house.

              In my day ... my dad had a similar approach but it was known as cheap labour

                  The old colours were much better. Live should be red, obvious really, live was the nasty, vicious and evil wire. Now the colour has been toned down so it does not feel discriminated against. This is just part of the wishy washy trend of nothing being responsible for its own actions.
