this morning seems to be dragging.

Although I have found some performance improvements and shaved a whole 4secs off a routine.

I've just made another tweak and waiting for the profiler to finish

Ah, I remember doing stuff like that.

Changing from byte arrays to integer (2 byte) arrays in a program & speeding it up by about 5 minutes.

The byte array access was rather convoluted on that machines (G.A. 16-220).

The dequadin and strepsils seem to help too.
