              Gosh.

              It's taken most of the morning, but I finally figured out where the "spare" spring went in this Elizabethan LZ29 that someone brought in on Friday.

              It now "sort of" works.

              Tensions are all over the place though & I can't see how you're supposed to adjust them.

              It appears to have actually been used, which is unusual in a tape recorder.
